Definition of split-type oil seal:
A split-type oil seal is composed of a rubber body, a frame, and an internal spring. Compared with traditional oil seals, the split-type oil seal has a distinct gap and is detachable. The reason for the emergence of this type of oil seal is that in modern industry, many equipment have significant wear on the oil seal, short service life, frequent replacement, and generally, such equipment replacement often requires downtime or equipment disassembly. For example, equipment like reducers and bearing boxes. The split-type oil seal effectively solves this problem, allowing for replacement in three minutes and being simple and easy to operate.
Principle of split structure
The split-type oil seal consists of an inner and outer ring. The splitting point has locking methods, using the alternating interfaces of clock 55 and 5, which can improve sealing performance and elastic compensation. The outer ring has auxiliary positioning and self-locking functions to prevent loosening. The split-type oil seal can choose its material based on the working environment and line speed, ensuring the advantages of the material while enhancing the inherent properties of the split-type oil seal. Installation method of split-type oil seal:
1. Check if the interface is clean and compact, and apply molybdenum disulfide lithium-based ester on the lip to prevent dry friction.
2. The spring faces the medium, pull the interface to align with the bearing, avoiding excessive stretching.
3. Put on the bearing frame tightly, with the opening facing upwards, and gently press it into the groove near the hole.
4. After entering a small part, strike the split opening in the opposite direction in a gentle manner, and insert to half the height.
5. Repeat the fourth step until it is in the same plane as the cavity.
